Judge Verna A. Adams, appointed to the bench in 1999, earned her bachelor's degree from Wellesley College and law degree from Stanford University.

Judge Terrence R. Boren, appointed to the bench in 1995, earned his bachelor's degree from Brigham Young University and law degree from Hastings College of Law.

Judge Roy O. Chernus, elected to the bench in 2010 with his term starting in 2011, earned his bachelor's degree from George Washington University and law degree from New York Law School.

Judge James T. Chou, was appointed to the bench in 2010, earned his bachelor's degree from University of California at Berkeley and a law degree from University of California at Davis.
